Gas Safety Certificates (CP12) is a legal requirement that in the case of residential let properties, the landlord must arrange an annual Gas Safety Check by a registered Gas Safe plumber.

The legislation is enforced by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and failure to comply with the regulations is a criminal offence.
